Pastor Derrick Johnson is a seasoned minister with over 28 years of experience in church leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Pastor of NuBeginnings Church, he has a rich history in ministry that began as a Youth Pastor at New Covenant Ministries in Orange Park, Florida. He went on to become the Founder and Senior Pastor of Rebirth Worship Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and later served as an Associate Pastor at Hightown Community Church in Northport, Alabama.  Pastor Derrick's passion for ministry extends beyond the pulpit. In 2012, he and his wife, Lady Jacquie, co-founded Bright Minds Youth Development, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and young adults in at-risk neighborhoods in Orange Park, FL. In 2018, led by a sense of divine purpose, Pastor Derrick and his family relocated to Tuscaloosa, AL, where they embraced the new season God had prepared for them.
